Get to know Gimpy

Gimpy was hatched on October 28th, 2012, and is a proven male white face cinnamon pied Cockatiel. He’s had a hard life and been through many homes that he couldn’t call a forever home. He’s an amazing singer and will serenade his mate, Pearl all throughout the day. His right leg is splayed (sticks sideways instead of forward) and he’s missing the end of one of his left toes but he doesn’t let his disabilities stop him from living the best life with Pearl. He’s not very handleable due to his inability to grip onto hands but offering him a wide towel to hop onto makes him much more stable and comfortable, whenever he has to be carried around. He was an absolute dream to someday care for, due to his beautiful coloring (mutation) and I’m so happy to be able to give him the forever home he deserves.
